When I first heard this song I cried so hard. This song really touched my life. My life right now has been a mess but I am relying on God to be with me.
I really love the bridge that says.
Here in the middle of the lonely night
Here in the middle of the losing fight, You're
Here in the middle of the deep regret
Here when the healing hasn't happened yet
Here in the middle of the desert place
Here in the middle when I cannot see Your face
Here in the middle with Your outstretched arms
You can see my pain and it breaks Your heart
I pray this song touches you as it did me. My prayer for you today is that God will find you wherever you are and whatever you are going through.
My Paper Heart is one of my all time favorite songs ever. It talks about how God has our heart. Remember that even if you don't have that special guy in your life God loves you and wants your heart. Enjoy this song today! Thought it would be a great way to end our month of Love.
This song I have listened to for several years. I thought it would be appropriate for this weeks Worship Wednesday as it went along with my post on Monday. I hope you will take a few minutes and listen. Rebecca St. James wrote this song on waiting for the day when God will give her the right guy to be her husband. I pray everyday that God will send me the right guy but until He does I will be waiting and saving myself for him.
Hope you enjoy this song today. This song encouraged me so much because I want to be in the presence of God. I want to draw nearer to Him. Just listen to the music and words and focus on Jesus.
This weeks song is by Kari Jobe. This song ties into what I wrote about on Monday. We need to seek God and Jesus in prayer. Hope you are encouraged but this song. Let the music just speak to you. Close your eyes and listen to the lyrics and just talk to God.
This has been a favorite for a couple years now. I thought it was appropiate to share this week with you. On monday we talked about worship music and worshipping God. This song is perfect. I love the bridge that says, "I'm gonna worship you forever, I'm gonna worship you" Let's worship God today and everyday because He is worthy of all our praise. As long as I am able to breathe I will worship God with my whole heart.
If you have been following my blog for some time now you will know that mucus is a big part of my life. Today I wanted to talk about Worship Music and how it can help with your quiet time. Ever since I could remember I would love listening to christian music. It wasn't until more recently as I got older that worship music became a big thing for me.
There's something about getting into worship and prayer that makes me feel so refreshed and alive. I love just crying out to Him through song and just worshiping His Holy name.
I encourage you to make a playlist of worship music and listen to it before and during your quiet time. I promise you that it will change your life. It did mine. I invested in buying spotify. I listen to enough music each month to justify paying. I have many different playlists on there but my most used one is called Quiet Time. Today I will name just a few of my favorites that are on my playlist for you. These are ones I listen to everyday. I love them!!

Today's Worship Wednesday song is my theme for the year and goes along with my word of the year. I love the line in this song that says "Take me deeper then my feet could ever wander." I want to go deeper in His Word and deeper in my relationship with Him. Hope you are blessed by this song.
Can you believe that it's Christmas Eve? Where did the year go?
This week you have noticed that I have been posting mostly songs the last few days. Again I am posting another song but just wanted to take some time and actually write.
One thing I have come to realize as I get older is that Christmas isn't about the gifts, the tree, and the lights. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Without Him we would all be lost. I saw something on facebook that said "one unplanned pregnancy saved the world." I thought that was so profound. I am a huge Pro-life supporter and without getting too much into my views on abortion and what not I will say I never thought of the birth of Jesus like this before. Mary didn't plan to have a baby yet she did. Her pregnancy was unplanned but her baby saved the world. Think about it this Christmas. I pray you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve. I will leave you with this song and be sure to check back tomorrow night for my Christmas post.
Another song for you to enjoy this Christmas Season. This song is upbeat and I love that! My favorite line in this song is "this Christmas, give me more of Christ." Yes I want to remember that Christmas is about Jesus and what a wonderful gift He was.
Refine Me
Your so patient with me
Faithful and sure
To make me into something better
You know prayers that I've prayed
The tears that I've cried
Lord you know my heart's desire
Oh, to know You
To be more like You
Do what You need to
Help me to trust You
Even if Your love brings me suff'ring
Help me to hold on
To know that You're strong enough to see me through completely
Refine me
Your joy will be my strength
while I'm in these flames
I'm becoming Your reflection
Your kindness will be my song
Though I'm not alone,
Your presence is my consolation
Oh, to know you
I'm longing for you
Do what you need to
Help me to trust you
Even if Your love brings me suff'ring
Help me to hold on
To know that You're strong
Enough to see me through completely
Refine me
Oh God! My God!
Refine me
Oh God! Merciful God!
All for Your glory,
All for my good
To know Your love much deeper
Than I thought I ever could
Refine me, Oh!
Do what You need to
Help me to trust You
Even if Your love brings me suff'ring
Help me to hold on
To know that you're strong
Enough to see me through completely
As I write today's post. It is almost over but this song has been an inspiration to me lately. No matter what happens I want God's Will to be done. It may hurt at times and i may not understand but I want His will to be done. I love the bridge of this song. It talks about God's plans for us and that He has goodness in store. He see us and hear us. Blessings as you listen to this song.
I’m so confused
I know I heard You loud and clear
So, I followed through
Somehow I ended up here
I don’t wanna think
I may never understand
That my broken heart is a part of Your plan
When I try to pray
All I’ve got is hurt and these four words
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
I know You’re good
But this don’t feel good right now
And I know You think
Of things I could never think about
It’s hard to count it all joy
Distracted by the noise
Just trying to make sense
Of all Your promises
Sometimes I gotta stop
Remember that You’re God
And I am not
So
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will
I know You see me
I know You hear me, Lord
Your plans are for me
Goodness You have in store
I know You hear me
I know You see me, Lord
Your plans are for me
Goodness You have in store
So
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
This song was one of my go to last summer. I was going through some rough spots and was struggling with being fake. I kept telling everyone that things were going fine and I would smile when inside I was falling apart. We just need to be real and honest with each other. Hope this encourages you today. Share your brokenness and how you feel instead of hiding it.
Well, I'm tired of saying everything
I feel like I'm supposed to say
I'm tired of smiling all the time
I wanna throw the mask away
Sometimes you just have a bad day
Sometimes you just wanna scream
Tell me I'm not the only one
Tell me that you feel just like me
We keep tryin to make it look so nice
And we keep hidin' what's goin on inside
But what if I share my brokenness
What if you share how you feel
And what if we weren't afraid of this crazy mess
What if we were real
What if we were real
I'm over hidin my tears
I think I'm gonna let em' go
I'm over actin so strong
When I ain't even in control
We make it so complicated
But why does it have to be
Why can't we open our hearts and let everybody see
We keep tryin to make it look so nice
And we keep hidin' what's goin on inside
But what if I share my brokenness
What if you share how you feel
And what if we weren't afraid of this crazy mess
What if we were real
We'd think a little less of ourselves
We'd care about someone else
'Cause we'd know just how they feel
Maybe we could let someone love us
Maybe we'd a little more like Jesus
Why can't we learn to real
We keep tryin to make it look so nice
And we keep hidin' what's goin on inside
But what if I share my brokenness
What if you share how you feel
And what if we weren't afraid of this crazy mess
What if we were real
You've got to be real
You've got to be real
You've got to be real
You've got to
You've got to
Here is a song that has been so encouraging lately. We see ourselves like what we have done but God sees us as what He has done. Let this be encouraging to you today.
How many times can one heart break?
It was never supposed to be this way
Look in the mirror, but you find someone you never thought you'd be
Oh, but I can still recognize
The one I love in your tear stained eyes
I know you might not see him now, so lift your eyes to me
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
You see your worst mistake
But I see the price I paid
There's nothing you could ever do, to lose what grace has won
So hold on, it's not the end
No, this is where love's work begins
I'm making all things new
And I will make a miracle of you
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
I see my child, my beloved
The new creation you're becoming
You see the scars from when you fell
But I see the stories they will tell
You see worthless, I see priceless
You see pain, but I see a purpose
You see unworthy, undeserving
But I see you through eyes of mercy
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
You're not too far gone
You're one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet, no
When you see wounded, I see mended
Ooh, I see mended
Woah, oh I see mended
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
Today's song has really been a favorite of mine for a while. It's a great reminder that no matter what we can find God when we are on our knees. He never leaves us. Even when we have nothing left but brokenness we can trust God because He remains faithful.
Troubles chasing me again,
Breaking down my best defense,
I'm looking, God, I'm looking for you
Weary just won't let me rest
And fear is filling up my head.
I'm longing, God I'm longing for you
But I will find you in the place I'm in,
Find you when I'm at my end,
Find you when there's nothing left of me to offer you except for brokenness.
You lift me up, you'll never leave me thirsty,
When I am weak, when I am lost and searching
I'll find you on my knees.
So what if sorrow shakes my faith,
And what if heartache still remains?
I'll trust you, my God I'll trust you.
'Cause You are faithful and I will...
Find you in the place I'm in,
Find you when I'm at my end,
Find you when there's nothing left of me to offer you except for brokenness.
You lift me up, you'll never leave me thirsty,
When I am weak, when I am lost and searching
Find you on my knees, my knees.
When my hope is gone,
When the fear is strong
When the pain is real,
When it's hard to heal
When my faith is shaken
And my heart is broken
And my joy is stolen,
God I know that...
You lift me up, you'll never leave me searching,
Find you in the place I'm in,
Find you when I'm at my end,
Find you when there's nothing left of me to offer you except for brokenness.
Today's song is such a great reminder that no matter what we face or what we go through we are not alone. God will never leave us. I love the second verse and how it says that even in the midst of deep sorrow, we see the light breaking through. The dark of night will not overtake us we are pressing into Him and He will fight our battles and we should not fear because we are not alone. Enjoy and be encouraged today.
When I walk through deep waters
I know that You will be with me
When I'm standing in the fire
I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow
I will not fear
[x2:]
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
In the midst of deep sorrow
I see Your light is breaking through
The dark of night will not overtake me
I am pressing into You
Lord, You fight my every battle
And I will not fear
[x2:]
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
[x4:]
You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own
You're my strength
You're my defender
You're my refuge in the storm
Through these trials
You've always been faithful
You bring healing to my soul
[x6:]
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
Isn't it awesome to know that the Lord is with us and God is for us and He will never fail? I have been listening to this song on repeat for the last hour. I love that He conquered death and given us the victory. So I encourage you to listen to this song today. Let it be our theme and anthem for this week.
Our strength is renewed
In your presence
As we wait on you
Our Joy is restored
In your presence
As we worship you
Our faith cannot be shaken
Nothing can separate us
[CHORUS:]
The lord is with us
The lord is with us
Our God is for us
He will never fail
Our hope is revived
In your presence
As we sing to you
Your word comes alive
In your presence
As we trust in you
Our faith cannot be shaken
No one can separate us
[CHORUS]
Heʼs defeated all
Of our enemies
Heʼs put all things
Underneath our feet
He has conquered death
And given us victory
[CHORUS]
Every step we take
The Lord is with us
Every move we make
The Lord Is With us
This song has been my theme lately. I want the world and the ones around me to see Christ living in me. Every thing I do and say I want them to see Him living in me. Stop and think about this! Take time right now and say from now on I want everyone to see Him come through me. Have a blessed day.
Take away the melodies
Take away the songs I sing
Take away all the lights
And all the songs You let me write
Does the man I am today
Say the words You need to say
Let them see You
In me
Let them hear You
When I speak
Let them feel You
When I sing
Let them see You
Let them see You
In me
Who am I without Your grace
Another smile, another face
Another breath, a grain of sand
Passing quickly through Your hand
I'd give my life, an offering
Take it all, take everything
Let them see You
In me
Let them hear You
When I speak
Let them feel You
When I sing
Let them see You
Let them see You
In me
With every breath I breathe
I sing a simple melody
But I pray they'll hear more than a song
In me, in me
Let them see You
In me
Let them hear You
When I speak
Let them feel You
When I sing
Let them see You
Oh, let them see You
In me
Let them hear You
When I speak
Let them feel You
When I sing
Let them see You
Just let them see You in me
Let them see You
